I joined Crisp Branding as a newcomer to the promotional items industry, but was able to quickly adapt my knowledge to meet their requirement for someone to work closely alongside both the Sales Manager and Marketing Manager. The role required understanding a vast range of print production processes, and every client had different requirements for their specific branding in combination with the products they were looking for, therefore presenting a new challenge each time.The Sales element involved responding to client enquiries via email, finding a suitable solution from a product range of over 100,000 items, and quoting promptly and professionally. I was responsible for converting over £350,000 of customer orders from leads generated by the company website, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Some of my key clients included Uber and Uber Eats, Birmingham City University, the Egyptian Tourism Board, Audi, and a plethora of large but less household-name clients from a variety of different industries.With a background in marketing consultancy, I used my knowledge of the product range and trends from the Sales team to assist the Marketing Manager in the production of marketing collateral for print and digital purposes.This role required a lot of flexibility, and the company recognised my skills in both areas of Sales and Marketing and allowed them to complement each other to achieve the best results.
