I'm a writer, educator, editor, and book marketing consultant. Working as a Lecturer at one of the top research universities in America, I get to do what I love best—coaching authors on how they can craft their ideas simply and directly to resonate with their intended audiences. Of course, simple and direct writing doesn't mean it's stripped of finesse or starved of pizzazz. I learned the book-industry ropes when I published my first novel in 2020. Now, when I'm not teaching or writing, I help new authors navigate a path to get their manuscripts to the market—whether that be content and developmental editing, building a team of early adopters, facilitating book design, or finding the right agent or publishing house. Over the past three years, I've managed marketing teams for Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling book launches.
