Looked at LRG1 biomarker expression in cancer, following protocols to analyse the serum of cancer patients for upregulation of LRG1 protein using ELISA technique. Successfully performed a range of other analytical techniques including Western blotting, RNA scopes, BSA assays and dot-blot assays when investigating the retina of mice for LRG1. Organised results and findings to present in weekly meetings with colleagues and senior research fellows. Observed clinical trials of statins for use in patients with multiple sclerosis at Moorfields Eye Hospital, and assisting in the subsequent processing, staining, and flow cytometry of bloods in ocular immunology.
