About Sam Schechter

Since graduating college in May 2020 with a degree in International Business and at the height of COVID-19, I quickly pivoted to land a career that suited me. Starting out in logistics, I stumbled my way into recruiting and have quickly grown in my field. Through various experiences within full cycle recruitment spanning across complex industries like IT and Financial Services, my skills in sourcing, candidate experience, and onboarding are unmatched. My curiosity for logistics and passion for hiring rock-star candidates brought me to my role at ELITE!One of my favorites thing about my line of work, is being able to take the connections offline, and build new relationships through networking. Since I began working with the Charlotte Area Chamber of Commerce, I've been able to expand and grow my circle. I'm excited to continue serving as Co-Chair of their Young Professionals committee. In my free time, I love to spend time with my fur-baby (Pepper) above. She is a Shiba-Inu (which aren't super common in NC)! I am also an avid-baker and love to share my treats and recipes with everyone.
