• Experience participating in PV Commissioning & Maintenance processes. Installation of Buss systems & alarm wiring termination & commissioning of MV Power Distribution Centers, Reviewing prints, coordinating with contractors, formulating punch-lists & facilitating punch-list activities. Demonstrates the ability to manage the construction process, understanding the risks while working in a fully operational PV power plant, preforming LOTO for contractors & ensuring all proper safety documentation & protocol is being strictly followed. Demonstrating the ability to trace out shorted/grounded electrical systems with no wire identification & leaving the system in a corrected state. Active safe working experience with 1-700VDC to 5-35500 VAC. Rectifying incorrect wiring resulting in unsafe working environments & potential fire hazards. Replacement of faulty breakers, landing circuits for cameras, lights, switches, MC4 connectors, keypads & tightening loose connections. Working knowledge of PPE requirements for various energized tasks. Quality control of electrical & mechanical specification of PCU components, combiner boxes, MVAC gear including grounding XFMRs, sectionalizing cabinets, metering cabinets, MVAC recloser relays, skid mounted XFMRs, medium voltage connections, T-bodies, surge arrestors, UPS’s, PV plant grounding systems, wire management, panel schedules, arch flash analysis I.D. labels, tracker controller units, power supplies, contactors, relays & tracking systems.
