I have worked in various roles that require flexibility and versatility in thinking and problem-solving. I have been known in the past for my relentless drive and focus on tasks, as well as an almost obsessive desire to deliver for my teammates and/or clients, as the case may be.My early career background is in Applied Behavioral Analysis and managing programs for individuals with unique needs. I also garnered private practice experience in one of Philadelphia's largest audiology practices assisting patients, doctors, insurers, and device manufacturers to deliver the best outcomes possible for patients. I then made a pivot to a public health focus so I could examine issues on a larger scale, pursuing a Masters in Public Health at Temple University. At Temple I found that I quite enjoy working with statistical software such as R, SAS, SQL and SPSS. I enjoyed learning R so much, I assisted one of my professors with the development of an R package. I also had the pleasure of working as an intern with the epidemiology team at Inovio Pharmaceuticals where I provided research support for clinical trial development for investigational immunotherapies.I completed my fieldwork placement at Temple's Institute for Survey Research where I worked with de-identified patient data from an opioid recovery program examining which patient characteristics predicted treatment engagement. I also utilized data from the NJ Prescription Drug Monitoring Program to examine the geospatial distribution of opioid and benzodiazepine prescriptions as well as per capita morphine milligram equivalents. As a result of that work, I had two abstracts accepted to the 2019 American Public Health Association (APHA) conference.Presently I work as an analyst supporting the government and funders team at ÜberResearch, a part of Digital Science. ÜberResearch helps funding organizations, nonprofits, and governmental institutions make more informed decisions about science funding, portfolio analysis and reporting.
