• Designed, printed, and prototyped a low-cost retina imaging method for the early detection of diabetic retinopathy without the need of medical professionals.• 3D modeled multiple parts using SOLIDWORKS that assembled into a usable prototype for early testing.• Applied strong synergy skills in a team of 4 students with varying expertise in order to provide the deliverable by the deadline.

Project Statement: Design, test, and implement an electro-mechanical connection between 2 quadcopter drones to allow for mid-air recharging.• Developed strong cooperation skills by working in a team of 7 students with differing skill sets.• Collectively designed a method of in-air recharging between two drones that required the use of both mechanical and electrical engineering concepts.• Worked as a team to use multiple methods of concept selection techniques, such as Pugh Charts and a Morphological Matrix, to decide on the best concept.• 3D modeled a quadcopter connection prototype and provided detailed engineering blueprints of the design.• Conducted regular project update meetings with the sponsors from Bell Flight.• Improved technical writing, interpersonal communication, and project presentation skills.
