Independent Consultant, currently working in the capacity of Project Manager for a global client managing implementation of Oracle HRIS for their China division and Kronos Workforce Manager at numerous plants within the USA.

Recent Accomplishments at Novelis Inc. • Managed a global team of 14 direct reports including 4 IT leads, 6 IT engineers and 4 business leads for migration of nearly 10,000+ e-mailboxes from Lotus Notes to Microsoft‘s BPOS/Exchange in a cloud environment. Primary negotiator with Microsoft locking in extremely favorable terms and pricing for Novelis. Scope included rollout of Office 2007, Outlook, Communicator, email conversion (30 days), contacts, calendars, archival system for legal holds, global training, and smart phone conversion. Decidedly successful project, below budget, minimal disruption to the business. • Presided over a 40% reduction of Notes apps from nearly 6000 across the globe. Remaining apps were consolidated to 10 servers; reduction from 40+. Strategy adopted to convert remaining apps to MS SharePoint. • Presided over server reduction initiative for Novelis North America division. Over 120 servers were cut from a mix of 700+. Reduced annual hardware budget of nearly 12 million U$D by 10%+. • Implemented project planning, tracking and reporting for Novelis North America including initiation of user oriented steering committees. Able to overcome extreme cultural barriers for this initiative. • Managed a multinational PMO (8 direct reports) to change Novelis fiscal year end from December 31 to March 31. Eleven home grown financial apps and Oracle and SAP financials were in scope. Successful completion. • Designed all key control objectives for Novelis for compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Sections 404 and 302 IT General Controls. Managed multiple teams across the globe during the implementation process. • Managed multiple technical and business teams across the globe when Novelis separated from Alcan during 2005. Scope included separating applications, infrastructure, networks and 3rd party service contracts from 20+ Alcan data centers across the globe. Completed under budget and ahead of schedule.

Consulting director with focus on project delivery and client management. Completed assignments for retail, utility, government, manufacturing, distribution, and financial Industries. Project work included developing strategies to align IT with strategic business objectives for medium sized companies. Completed numerous ERP package evaluations and selections, and numerous software implementations. Designed, implemented and managed numerous PMO functions. Significant Accomplishments:•Completed development of long and short term IT strategies for a number of business units and midsized companies including utilities, manufacturing, banking, retail, government. •Implemented and managed a PMO overseeing 14 IT and non-IT work streams for a division of the 2nd largest aluminum producer worldwide. Initiative fully transformed the Light Gauge division of Alcan Aluminum. •Participated in a team at JPMorgan Chase Home Finance to develop a section of an ROI for a proposed implementation of a document management application. Initiative included call center analysis of customer call handling, process routing and associated document retrieval and processing. ROI for the call center portion of the proposed application was approximately 7%+ reduction in their annual operating budget. •Managed the design and implementation of 158 point-to-point interfaces and all conversion subsystems for an ERP implementation for a major electrical parts distributor. •Managed the integration of all supply-chain systems for a merger of 2 major supermarket chains with combined annual revenue of 3+ billion U$D. Purchasing, distribution, receiving, EDI, store ordering and order processing were in scope. Responsible for work stream and client management (8 direct reports). 18k- hours, 40-member team; 15 IT and 25 business leads. •Managed implementation of 2 public websites and 2 private customer collaboration extranet sites for the 2nd largest aluminum producer worldwide.

• Managed the implementation of a sales force and marketing decision support package for Centerior Energy (currently First Energy). Responsibilities included work stream management, personnel management, vendor management and communications to IT and business executives. This complex implementation was on a client server platform with synchronization to 180 laptops. 36k-hour project, 20-member team with 5 direct reports and a 5 million U$D budget. Completed on schedule within budget. • Managed the implementation of PeopleSoft payroll and basic HR for Centerior Energy Corporation (currently First Energy). Twenty nine member team with 7 direct reports. Responsibilities included work stream management, personnel management, change management, process re-engineering, and all communications. Functioned as steering committee chairperson and facilitator. Also responsible for communications and status reporting to the project executive sponsors. This effort was 45k-hours, and a 3.5 million U$D budget. Extremely successful implementation completed on schedule within budget.

• Managed Data Administration department for 4 years at Centerior Energy Corp (currently First Energy). Twenty member unit with 6 direct reports. Responsible for corporate data management, data standards, database design, testing and production support for all IMS, DB2, RDB and Sybase database applications. Other responsibilities included disaster recovery, methodology and project management standards. Two+ million U$D annual budget supporting all production databases and over 240+ developers throughout Information Systems.
