• Solely responsible for all electronic fire alarm system new construction, MAC and system/code upgrades for the University of Texas, Austin exclusively which represented 55% of buildings on campus • Read and interpret contract drawings and specifications, interface with in-house, regional and outsourced designers to ensure submittal packages are consistent with the requirements set forth by the P.E. and UT Fire Alarm specification 5.28.30 Feb 2012 • Communicate project status to all stakeholders including UT OFPC, UT PMCS, UT FPS, UT FSSS and individual UT Building Managers providing a single point of contact for all stakeholders • Engaged designated UT sales reps in discussion to identifying missed labor dollars based on UT unpublished project requirements resulting in recovering lost labor dollars. • Initiated and managed a bi-monthly teleconference with UT stakeholders to discuss high visibility project status, initiate a process to document unpublished project requirements, identify particular project hurdles and engage UT for assistance to resolve issues. • Additional responsibilities included full project management for commercial projects on the sprinkler side. Project disciplines included but not limited to standard sprinkler installations, standalone dry pipe systems, dry pipe systems as back up to clean agent systems, deluge systems, nitrogen concentrators, fire pumps to include both electric and diesel motors

• Responsible for validation of completed construction work plans per requirements of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission • Ensure compliance with identified hold and inspection points and required processes identified within the work plans and proper signatures were obtained by the proper authorized personnel • Validation reviews of as-built drawings for gaseous and liquid nitrogen, liquid effluent collection and treatment systems, sprinkler systems and automatic fire detection and early warning fire systems • Completed walk downs of all systems assigned to ensure conformance to as-built drawings, make necessary corrections if required and forward to the engineering department for as-built version revisions • Assemble turnover packages following guidelines identified by current NRC processes • Gather all support information including P&ID’s, spare parts as identified by specification, operation and maintenance manuals, and required “place in service” authorizations. • Assemble all turnover documentation to form a complete package and submit to plant operations for review and approval
