For the last year, I have worked part-time as a member of the kitchen team at the Irritable Bao, one of the best and most popular restaurants in Auburn, Alabama. While there, I have learned valuable interpersonal and teamwork skills, having to work with the entire staff to make the day successful. On a typical day, our line is 20 people deep outside the door, with the lobby packed. This has taught me very well how to manage my time and work well under pressure.

I worked as the secretary for my fraternity, the Upsilon Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha, in Auburn. As secretary, I was in charge of the attendance tracking of 200+ people every week. While there, I streamlined the system from a manual, column by column check. The new system that I implemented tracks attendance and automatically geolocates each user when they attend the meeting. Summer after sophomore year of college, I pursued an internship with a company called FastGrowingTrees.com. They are the largest and most efficient shipper of full-sized trees right to your doorstep. While there, I worked in the operations department managing inventory, and learning how to run an operation that takes in and sends out more than 10,000 trees and plants per day.
