Currently working as an Design Engineer (recent completion of 3 year level 4 apprenticeship), specialising in flat blanks sheet metal - looking at additional knowledge in the electrical industry, workplace terminology includes; enclosure/switchboard/generator/loadbank/EV/control systems design/manufacture/site/device install/purpose and applications (steelwork panel building and device fitting - fuseswitches, ACB's, MCCB's, MCB's, CT's, busbars, and braided connections) for various applications and industries. My current role situates liaising with customers/shop-floor/production to design bespoke electrical enclosures towards customer requirements, adhering to relevant design standards/parameters. I have previously studied towards a HNC qualification in mechanical engineering, and am using RADAN CAD/CAM sheet metal software to design bespoke panels and associated parts. Also have some experience in AD Inventor and have previous engineering qualifications. Always open to experience new challenges and potential job offers, I am interested in all aspects of mechanical and electrical design - key areas, applications and industries include; mechanisms, conveyors, special purpose machines, general fabrication/machining, structural/construction, building supplies, BIM, PLC’s, control systems, sheet metal, tubular structures/chassis building, automotive/aeronautical, rail, nuclear, bespoke machines parts, pneumatic/hydraulics, & domestic appliances.I am keen to undertake any foundation necessary in order to kickstart my career and further knowledge where applicable.
