Focus is on fleet-level, cloud-based traffic management, on-robot autonomous behaviors and messaging, and field deployment of autonomous mobile manipulation systems in production. Experience and responsibilities included full lifecycle ownership of various states and substates in the robot’s mission execution software architecture. This includes high level autonomous functions, route planning, and robot motion. Created and maintained features for both an on-prem and a cloud-based version of a fleet-level traffic management system, which ensures robots don’t collide or deadlock in a warehouse environment. Designed and implemented a security library (JWT) for exposed web endpoints in the traffic management software. Designed and implemented Google Pub/Sub for the cloud-based traffic management software. Worked extensively with MQTT and AMQP for both cloud and on-prem systems using RabbitMQ. Designed and implemented scalable robot logging software. Travelled to Europe to support and test robots in the field for an extended period of time.

Worked offsite at Gateway Health in support of health plan compliance and analysis. Managed multiple internal and external projects while working seamlessly with managers and directors outside the immediate chain of command.

Placed on several high-profile client service engagements and gained experience with the business process behind client engagement. Duties included client analysis, media production, and administrative duties central to running a successful practice.

During my service in the USMC, I held many leadership positions and completed two combat deployments to Afghanistan. I also:– Attained the rank of Corporal and was recognized as a competent and motivated leader. – Held two military occupational specialties during my tour of duty: Infantry Assaultman (MOS 0351) and Scout Sniper (MOS 0317). – Was Honorably Discharged from active duty at the end of my four-year contract, but not before earning a Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and Certificate of Commendation.
