Shift Manager for YW top 5 sites. 4 x Incinerators 1 x Thermal Drying Plant across Yorkshire.Duties and Responsibilities: • Shift Manager for the 24/7 process for Sludge treatment• Ensuring all processes are operating efficiently and effectively and within EA guidelines, hitting all KPI’s• Driving safety culture across all YW sites• All site H&S, including general and steam permits, audits, contractors risk and method approval, incident investigation, RCA’s• Capital scheme projects, contractor liaison, site set-ups. Operational impacts• Business planning and forecasting.• All disciplinary actions.• E&M shutdowns, reactive works, duty bill controlling, asset management and preventative maintenance planning.• Gas production and CHP energy generation, ensuring target of 26mw generation is achieved daily.• Hull storm procedure reactive team memberOut of hours support to all technicians, myself and 4 other managers monitor all site processes using SCADA systems including Level 2 stand-by for all out of hour’s incidents.At the Hull site efficiency has improved for asset availability from 43% to currently running at 81% over the last 3 years.This is down to stronger focus on proactive maintenance, asset understanding, a stock of critical spares, and a developing a healthy team environment. New practices and processes are now been rolled out across the group.
