Online Connection allows the power distributors along with external energy customers to track their real time usage of power consumption. This aids the external user by allowing them to monitor their usage in compliance with contracts for power consumption. The application ties into the SharePoint environment as a data source. The main tools used were Eclipse for Android and SharePoint 2010.Trading Floor Application: This application was written using MVC3 principals in its design. The application displayed graphical data to the trading partner’s floor allowing them the ability to see real-time pricing information. This information allows the traders to make quick decisions about whether to purchase power from an external entity or sell power based on the current price at that point.Mobile SolutionsThe solutions for U.S. Xpress involved development for the routing of the trucks. Creating mobile applications for the drivers phones and tablets. The development tools were Visual Studio 2008/2010 with SQL Server and AS/400 as the backend data store. The tools used Visual Studio .Net,T-SQL, AS/400, Android. Out Of Route Map: Developed system to allow the business group to map and compare different routes taken by a driver. This information was then used to check how many miles the driver deviated from the planned route.GEO Mapping: Silverlight based application that would display the current location of a customer on a map using the latitude and longitude values.
