First Derivatives is a world leader in capital market software system Delta based in kdb+, a time-series database language. Currently I am based out of the Singapore office working in the APAC pre-sales team. My involvement in kdb+ solution includes processing and analysis of ASX24 future and options data, construction of reports for the ASX and CHIX markets, system deployment and historical database maintenance. Additionally, I have focused on developing techniques to detect and monitor the behaviour of high frequency traders.I have worked extensively with Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) enhancing their kdb+ Market Maker Monitoring System (MMS) as well as co-developing the rebate and incentive scheme liquidity providers and market makers.
