My role is to process the planning of in scope, contractual and emergent work as well as work additional to the contract. This is to extend the life and serviceability of all machinery and electrical systems within the Refit And Maintenance Period. I spent over 3 years as an apprentice at Princess yachts Where I managed to establish myself in several teams showing I was a team player and adaptable to the company needs. My first year consisted of college training where I built my underpinning knowledge and prepared myself for industry. In my second year I started working on On the P42 line which had a turnover of a yacht a month. I learnt each section of the boat for the year and by the start of my third year I’d been delegated an area to specialise in. I quickly became a valued asset for the duration of my apprenticeship, having been given the task of building my area on my own to help with business needs.
