Completed my second rotation as a Network Engineering Specialist in the Telco Cloud team. The team is responsible for the build, upgrade and lifecycle management of a private cloud platform that hosts virtualised and containerised 4G/5G network functions.Key responsibilities:- Involvement in the management and development of a private cloud platform with a technology stack that includes OpenStack, Docker and Kubernetes- Automation of cloud processes using Ansible, AWX and Python- Creation of Splunk dashboards and alerts that provide real-time data analysis and visualisations- Development work related to the deployment of containerised applications using a CI/CD pipeline (Bitbucket, Bamboo)

The team is responsible for establishing the build and upgrade plan for the 4G, 5G and Small Cells programs, as well as working on key initiatives such as the Mobile Blackspot Program and 3G/4G equivalence.Key responsibilities:- Front and back-end development of an internal web application that provides data and visualisations to inform planning decisions (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, PostgreSQL)- Automation of workflow processes using scripting languages such as Python and Bash- Analysis of geospatial data using SQL, PostGIS and QGIS- Simplification of processes for generating coverage maps and completion of ad hoc map requests
