Freshman at UF | Aspiring Entrepreneur & Community LeaderHello! I'm Sam, a motivated college student with a passion for entrepreneurship, leadership, and community engagement. Throughout my high school journey, I've been actively involved in various activities, honing my skills and making a positive impact in my community.As the Founder and Partner of CS Services, a landscaping business serving the Newtown CT area, I've led a team in providing affordable services to over 50 clients while also creating employment opportunities for 30 college and high school students. Our efforts were recognized in the Newtown Bee, and I'm proud to say we've completed approximately 600 jobs since our inception in Fall 2022.In addition to my entrepreneurial pursuits, I've dedicated time to leadership roles such as Debate Club Captain and President/Founder of the book club "Books Around the World." Through these positions, I've expanded club memberships, organized events, and facilitated discussions to promote cultural awareness and critical thinking skills among peers.As Vice President of Newtown High School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Club, I played a key role in growing our membership and achieving recognition in regional competitions, qualifying us for the national stage in Atlanta, GA.Outside of academics and extracurriculars, I've also gained valuable work experience at Dunkin Donuts and Caraluzzi's, learning the importance of teamwork, customer service, and time management in fast-paced environments.Looking ahead, I'm excited to continue pursuing my passion for entrepreneurship and community service in college.
