I am a freelance radio producer and audio editor based in London. In 2021, I was selected for the ICA's New Creatives Scheme, where I produced an audio documentary titled 'My Granny Is A Selkie', which was showcased as part of the Current Transmissions exhibit. I studied an MA Radio at Goldsmiths University and graduated with a distinction in 2022. Following my graduation, I created a radio documentary for BBC Radio 4’s Short Cuts, titled 'The Cha-cha Champion', and produced a podcast series for Togetherall, an online mental health platform.Since September 2022, I have worked as a producer at NTS Radio, contributing to both live shows and podcast production. My work has included editing and sound recording for their acclaimed podcasts 'Digging with Flo' and 'Don’t Assume' as well as production for their 'In Focus' series.Earlier this year, I produced and edited 'Queering' Folk, a radio documentary for NTS that explores the history of LGBT folk music in the UK. My documentary pitch 'Punching' was shortlisted for The Whickers Podcast Pitch Funding Award in April 2024. Currently, I am producing the international news series 'Newsreel World' for Whistledown Productions and working on a radio documentary with Falling Tree, set to air on BBC Radio 4 in the new year.Examples of my audio and written work are available on my website: www.samebstone.com
