My current role as an estimator has enabled me to further my industry knowledge as well as develop skills in other areas within the company’s construction division including project management & hydraulic design. I am eager to continue absorbing knowledge in these areas to continue the development of further skills, industry knowledge & experience.

In January 2018 I joined the estimating team, where I quickly adapted to the office environment and have been successfully estimating competitive and conforming tenders to many builders Australia wide. The projects we target range from small contracts, through to large projects such as hospitals, shopping centres, schools, major hotels and hi-rise student accommodation, apartments & office buildings.

Following the completion of year 12, I completed a 6 month plumbing and general construction based pre-vocational course at TAFE SA before beginning a plumbing apprenticeship with Smith Brothers Group, now formally known as Cushman & Wakefield Facilities Services Australia. Following the completion of my apprenticeship, I worked as a qualified tradesman within the Smith Brothers Plumbing construction division for a further seven months. During the four and a half years of working full time in the construction division I managed to learn a diverse range of practical plumbing skills, receiving on-site training from experienced tradesmen, as well as a wide range of theoretical experience during the completion of my Certificate III and Certificate IV in Plumbing & Gas Fitting at TAFE SA.
