As Senior Sales / Category Manager for Golf within EMEA and Sport within the UK and Ireland I am responsible for the maintenance and growth of the business's within the region, overseeing a team of salesman as well as working closely with the Trade Marketing and Product teams.Developing a strong GTM strategy and ensuring that the brand is represented well at retail throughout the year are fundamental aspects of the role, making sure marketing, product and sales teams are aligned.Key account management and buying group relationships are also personal responsibilities of mine as we aim to continue to gain market share from our competition.

Within this role I was responsible for the management of the adidas Golf brand in the south east of the UK, selling in the full range of apparel and footwear, as well as always prospecting for new opportunities to increase revenue. I worked tirelessly to improve the day to day service levels within the region and realised some significant improvements. During this period I hit all sell in and distribution targets leaving the area with turnover of £300,000 stronger than the previous year.

Managing the TMaG business within the EMEA Emeriging Markets Channel I was responsible for the full product portfolio consisting of TaylorMade, adidas Golf, Adams and Ashworth. As the account manager the sell in of these four brands, customer service, communication of marketing activations and experiential engagement were my day today responsibilities ensuring that the business' strategy was translated within the region. Dealing with a customer base across 17 countries consisting of retailers and distributors gave me great experience working with different cultures and business models.The role included 20% travel for the sell in of the relevant ranges as well as conducting quarterly meetings with the key customers and non EU import teams.

Dealing with the Key accounts within the UK Golf Market I assisted the two KAM's with sell in and account maintenance. My responsibilities were to look after the order book to ensure that we remained on track to quarterly conversion targets as well as the top line sales target along with the sell in of TaylorMade and adidas Golf accessories. During my time in the team we managed to achieve some great market shares in the off course channel, including becoming the number one footwear brand. This was realised by being diligent to sales patterns and ensuring that myself and the team worked as proactively as possible to take advantage of any opportunity we identified.

My responsibilities within this role were to manage the Key Accounts from a service perspective. I was responsible for arranging and overseeing outbound PO's to these accounts as well as dealing with any issues or questions their stores may have had around our product portfolio.
