Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile! I was born and raised in Colorado Springs and still currently reside in this beautiful city with my wonderful husband, Caleb, and our two nutty dogs, Roxy and Murphy. I started in the insurance industry at 16, specifically in Commercial Insurance. Some might wonder why or how a 16 year old got into this business, well that credit goes to my mom. She's my boss and mentor with over 40 years of experience in the industry. She is the reason I've had a career longer than most people my age. It also doesn't hurt that I like what I do!The insurance industry is constantly changing and I love it! 🤓 *Nerd Alert* 🤓 As an Commercial Agent, there are three main things I'm passionate about: 1. Customer Service2. Education 3. Technology within the insurance industryThese three passions all tie into each other. I'm building on a legacy and what I've learned is client relationships matter, big time! Caring about a client's business and learning about what they do is key to meeting their insurance needs. That ties into educating client's on what kind of insurance their business needs, so if/when a loss occurs they're covered for it. Now, when it comes to technology is pretty well known within the insurance industry that it's a bit behind the times. Thankfully, there are companies out there that are changing the game for us agents. Our work loads haven't diminished, if anything they've grown, and the management systems we use at our agency allows us to handle that growth. We're one of the largest locally owned agencies in Colorado Springs and because our agency owners invest in technology and programs for the agency we in turn can focus on our clients and meeting their insurance needs. Even though I've been working in insurance for a long time I believe my journey has just started. In the next year I plan on becoming a certified risk manager and look forward to the opportunities that'll open up for myself and our agency. From there, who knows, maybe I'll own my own agency one day. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Stay tuned!
