As a freelance linguist and translator, I provide high-quality services to various clients, ranging from academic institutions to media outlets. I am a native English speaker with full working proficiency in Japanese, as well as a passion for languages, linguistics and the act of translation itself. I earned my MA in Translation Studies at SOAS University of London, where I worked on a thesis about the manipulation of queer identities in the English translations of Japanese video games. I have over two years of work experience, including a stint as an interpreter at The Henry Moore Institute, where I facilitated the dialogue between the curators and Japanese artists.
