Promoting into sales department as Western Regional Sales Manager, worked with representative, OEM engine dealers, and end users, selling Silencer products. Leading salesman for tenure in sales 3 years. Increase sales, 8 per cent first year, 12, per cent next year and 9 per cent last year. Top performer year after year.

Outside sales of Cleaver Brooks boilers and boiler service. Leading sales man for two years while there. Daily outside sales with customers in East Texas, Northern Louisiana and Southern Arkansas. Top producer in company over my tenure.

Management of steel fabrication projects from initial sale through to shipment. This included determining the scope of work; insuring that it matched the purchase order, drawings, and quotes; scheduling shop work; and follow up between coordination with drafting, purchasing and shop. Projects included several direct-fired heaters, steam piping, HRSG coils, and a CO combustor.

Responsibilities were to handle waste heat recovery equipment quotations and sales functions. Managed nationwide representative network of 40 rep. companies while handling OEM accounts of 15 companies comprising of boiler manufactures and engineering companies. Company products included boiler economizers, air heaters, hot oil heaters, and waste heat boilers.

Application design and estimation of direct fired heater, hot oil heater, and helical and cabin type fired heaters, burners, convection sections, stacks. Coordinated with purchasing after sales was done, materials required. Coordinated with engineering drawings required, gave them customer design requirements. Reviewed with Sales before proposing.
