Recent graduate from Miami University Farmer School of Business, seeking full time opportunities. As a student in the Farmer School of Business, my academic experiences have enabled me to strengthen my leadership abilities, oral and written communication skills, and analytical and creative thought processes. With the business computing courses I have taken, this has allowed me to become proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python. In addition to these skills, I have developed my analyzation and quantitative skills through courses in Calculus, Microeconomics and Accounting. This past year I was able to participate in the First-Year Integrated Course program, where I utilized SQL to gain an understanding of proprietary client data that supported our proposed business solutions, I also developed an understanding of a customer base and how to appeal to their needs and practiced while also enhancing my public speaking skills. I’ve had a wide range of work experiences dating back to the summer of 2015. From summer camps to internships, I have learned a lot about the “work environment”. Being able to work with, and work for many different people from many different backgrounds has helped me become more culturally aware of the world we live in. Getting real life experience at an internship to coaching little kids in basketball. All these experiences have helped me develop my ability for time management, communication skills, and business professional skills. When I’m not in the classroom or in front of a computer I like to spend my time outside with my family and friends. Some of the sports I enjoy playing include, playing basketball, baseball, running, and golf. I enjoy doing physical activity using it to as an escape from the internet, but when it’s time to get work done, I am always ready. Feel free to reach out to me! sweenesj@miamioh.edu
