Job Description • Conduct internal systems and food safety audits for all Food Safety and Quality Standards according to the Internal Audit Schedule• Conduct a programme of factory and hygiene audits, both scheduled and across 4 manufacturing sites covering all shift patterns• Manage the Internal Audit Non-Conformance log, support with siteinvestigations to identify root cause of non-compliance and ensure the effective close out of all non-compliances.• Manage communication of audit performance on a monthly basis including site factory audits for the 4 sites• Identify ineffective procedures and processes and work with therelevant team to improve these whilst maintaining compliance

Planning and running the day-to-day of the business• Communicating with customers and suppliers and problem-solving any issues• ensuring production operates at maximum efficiency and initiating change in practices if required• Preparing for and leading all internal and external audits (BRC, Tesco and Red Tractor)• Creating, developing and maintaining the company’s quality management system• Responsible for food safety and health & safety on site• Ensuring the business complies with all legal requirements• Maintaining the digital quality assurance program • Managing logistics of deliveries to customers• Managing stock of raw materials• Training all staff in procedures and health & safety• Part of the incident management team and HACCP team• Responding to fast changing quality problems to keep products within specifications of multiple supermarket own brand products• Reporting all issues and success to directors
