Key driving and focus areas;a. Implementing “Total Cost Management” via quarterly supplier negotiations and business award process/review (QBR); focusing on supplier performance in quality, pricing, agility, supply assurance, liability flexibility, and predetermined individual suppliers’ key metrics for continuous supply base improvement,b. Continuously developing and enhancing suppliers relationship at global/senior level,c. Driving plant PPV improvement and recovery; award/PO compliance,d. Establishing new potential suppliers for internal design activity (ODM/JDM), and off AVL activity as well to enhance the current AVL - Preferred Supplier Program,e. Ensuring steps taken to prevent, as well as to solve potential material shortages. Notification via market alert report, alternate part proposal, and global allocation coordination to worldwide plant,f. Represent and support all level of discussion; with customers and suppliers,g. Contract management; to establish Purchase Agreement, NDA, Rebate Agreement (Volume & Design), and Agility Agreement (JIT/VMI),h. Enhance suppliers’ payment term,i. Implement Replenishment program – schedule sharing program (JIT/VMI).
