-Student Lead for electrical design of suborbital rocket payload used to calibrate the EVE instrument aboard the SDO satellite, and supported 4 of 6 launches from White Sands Missile Range. 1 launch was as sole undergraduate on the Essential Personnel Team; the remaining 3 launches were later as a professional engineer.- Over 50 hours of console experience, commanding 3 satellite missions, ICESat, SORCE andQuikSCAT.- Regularly generated procedures for SORCE, ICESat and QuikSCAT.- Developed IDL routines which incorporated Mg and Lyman-alpha solar proxy models todetermine SEE EUV spectrum degradation-function.- Led 2 student satellite subsystem teams charged with monitoring engineering data.- Flawlessly scheduled and uploaded Solar EUV Experiment (SEE) command files for over 75command loads over a two year period.- Designed and tested 1.7 GHz microwave amplifier and antenna used for atomic physics experiments.- Investigated 900 nm, 1 W spectroscopy grade laser system using a tapered amplifier seeded by a 50 mW lab-made tunable diode laser.
