Last semester at Stockton University, Last Clinical Fieldwork semester in the Teacher Education program at Stockton University. Took on more of the responsibilities of being a teacher at Absegami High School in Galloway, New Jersey. Learning about successful models for teaching and sustaining success in the classroom. Striving to use a variety of teaching styles and help the classroom become a place where students feel comfortable being themselves and being active participants.

Third clinical practice semester, third of four clinical practice semesters in the Teacher Education program at Stockton University to become a teacher. Was able to take on a bigger role in the classroom at Absegami High School, teaching six lessons over the course of the semester and striving to improve with each one. Implemented feedback from my mentor teacher about using a variety of classroom strategies

Leadership role at the Monroe Township Recreation Camp. Actively work with the counselors and the site director to create a good environment, one where the workers are responsible, but also enjoy their jobs. Oversee the work of the counselors and ensure a positive, safe, and fun experience for all of the campers. Devise plans for safety of all campers and counselors when traveling to parks and trips off site.

Work to provide a fun and enjoyable experience for members who come to the pool. Responsible for the preparation of food and the pool deck. Actively work with other employees to set goals and learn how we can best work together to be successful.

Second clinical practice semester. Second of four clinical practice semesters in the Teacher Education program at Stockton University. Worked with a mentor teacher at Texas Avenue Middle School in Atlantic City, NJ, in a sixth grade classroom. Assisted the students when working in groups was able to build a relationship with many of the students. Learned more from the teacher about lesson planning, curriculum, and different styles of teaching.

First step to becoming a teacher, first of four clinical experience semesters in the Teacher Education program at Stockton University. Observed an experienced teacher in a high school setting at Atlantic City High School. Observed, took notes, and spoke with this teacher about the process of becoming one, as well as best practices with students and what he has learned throughout his career.

Worked to provide campers with a fun and safe experience at camp.

Learned the job expectations of being a counselor at the camp and had some experience dealing with those responsibilities in practice to be a counselor the following year.
