Actively work with the counselors and the site director to create a good environment, one where the workers are responsible, but also enjoy their jobs. Oversee the work of the counselors and ensure a positive, safe, and fun experience for all of the campers. Devise plans for safety of all campers and counselors when traveling to parks and trips off site.

Worked with a mentor teacher at Texas Avenue Middle School in Atlantic City, NJ, in a sixth grade classroom. Assisted the students when working in groups was able to build a relationship with many of the students. Learned more from the teacher about lesson planning, curriculum, and different styles of teaching.
