Following the acquisition of a minority stake in LOVERBOY by Tomorrow London Limited, I took on the position of Managing Director. In this role, my principle responsibility was to oversee the integration of Tomorrow London & LOVERBOY’s processes, improving & expanding upon LOVERBOY's existing operations in order provide a foundation for the growth plan to be executed over the next 5 years.We worked to integrate & improve:* Financial Operations* Supply chain management* Sales & Commercial activities* Marketing and Social media * E-Commerce and D2C I performed this role in addition to continuing with my previous responsibilities, supported by a growing team on the operations and sales sides of the company.Additionally, I was responsible for reporting to a newly expanded board of directors (on which I served) and the Tomorrow London executive team.

Between the start of 2018 and the start of 2021, I assumed a role as the Commercial and Operation lead within the company, with overall responsibility for planning and carrying out the brand’s revenue generating activities, marketing activations and operational processes.This role expanded upon many of the aspects of the studio manager role, and grew in scope consistently during this three year period.

Following the completion of a 4 month internship working on the brand’s SS18 season, I assumed the role of assistant designer working across the AW18 and SS19 seasons. Working directly under the creative director to develop seasonal collection designs - this work involved:* Conducting and organising research led by seasonal themes* Assisting with styling on research shoot* Sketching and producing CAD drawings (Illustrator)* Sourcing and designing custom fabrics including LOVERBOY’s signature Tartan * Assisting creatively in all fittings* Liaising directly with product development and production team to ensure designs were accurately interpreted* Visits to factories for production handover and to supervise new sample development* Designing and mocking up in-store installations & a one off gallery exhibition (Sketch-up)I carried out this work alongside my other role as studio manager, a role which involved broader operational and production orientated responsibilities including:* Organising shows & exhibitions, working with production partners and PR to orchestrate key brand showcases including the AW18 ’Tantrum’ show, as well as an exhibition at Greenwich’s NOW Gallery.* Organising the company's finances, working with our accountant on bookeeping & basic financial planning, while managing AP & AR, & the company payroll.* Day-to-day company operations, liaising with partners & collaborators, managing office purchases alongside other ad hoc responsibilities*Assisting with SS18 sales season - targeting & meeting with clients during market & finalising orders prior to taking more of a comprehensive role as Head of Sales from FW18.* Applying for competitions, creating both written presentations and financial reports for various competitions and awards including Newgen (Awarded 2017/18 + 2018/19) & the LVMH prize (Finalist 2018 Edition)During this time the brand was awarded the British Fashion Award for Emerging Menswear Designer (2017).

This was an expansive internship based at a relatively new design house. The team was only 5 people so I was able to work in close proximity and get involved in many different areas from design, to social media to business. My responsibilities included: assisting with pattern cutting, cutting out patterns/fabrics, assisting with making, hand sewing (buttons, linings, canvasing jackets), sourcing fabrics, liaising with and delivering to manufacturer, making packaging, setting up for press launch, speaking with press, assisting with photoshoots and other general office responsibilities.
