Skilled in process development, problem solving, and communication of technical information to a variety of audiences.Over the years I have gained experience in a variety of Laboratory skills including, analytical, extraction and purification techniques, process and procedure development, report interpretation, report and presentation writing and the production of standard documentation (raw material specifications, product specifications, technical data sheets, MSDS’s)In previous roles, I have complemented my chemical knowledge and expertise with an understanding of sector specific knowledge to help further my ability to optimise processes to specific target markets.In a previous life, I have worked as a Science Teacher in a secondary school and sixth form, where I further developed my presentation and communication skills to a variety of willing and unwilling audiences, whilst handling a high workload under constant time pressure.Before this I carried out my PhD under the supervision of Dr Chris Russell focusing on the design and synthesis of coinage metal acetylides at the University of Bristol, and a MChem in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (1st Class w/Honours) from the University of Leicester.
