I have recently worked with two high profile businesses (J2 Nightclub & The Bar Bolton) in the intermittent period after a new venue purchase. My role involved setting standards and developing teams via training, in order to place the business in a prime position for marketing.

General Manager of two venues, a busy city centre bar and nightclub. Music Policy, R&B, Urban, Style, cool/stylish. I was appointed the temporary role to “clean up” the venue after a series of crime and disorder issues, resulted in the licence being put up for review. By raising standards, communicating and building up relationships with Preston Licensing department the premises licence underwent no changes at the review.My duties included (general day to day management of the venue, as below) recruiting & managing in house security team, overseeing of high profile live acts, liaising with agents, and co-ordinating marketing/promotion and ticket sales for events. Developing the business strategy: in order to place in a prime position for driving both the brand and the business forwards.
