About Sam Vaghar

My north star: helping young people own their voice and power to make a difference.I serve as the Executive Director of MCN, convening and training the next generation of social impact leaders on 280+ campuses worldwide. In my capacity, I build robust partnerships with leaders in philanthropy, higher education, business, government and non-profits to realize our vision as a platform for undergraduates making a difference. The MCN unites and trains over 4,000 campus leaders annually through the Millennium Fellowship and Millennium Oceans Prize.I have been fortunate to represent the MCN on the global stage, from meeting with President Obama at the White House to speaking on State Department speaking tours across four nations in North Africa and Eastern Europe. I am always searching for ways to improve our work, grow our community, and add value to leaders committed to strengthening communities. Please reach out if we can collaborate and/or if I can be supportive. Outside of MCN, I also consult on effective youth engagement strategies.
