Operate in a dual role with Champion Industries as the Directory of Information Technology Services and Operations Manager at Champion Output Solutions, a Champion subsidiary. Champion Output Solutions blends emerging automation technologies with traditional printing processes and services and operates as a transaction printing and mailing facility performing comprehensive complete print and mailing services to the banking, insurance, medical, and utility industries. Current focus at Champion Output Solutions is multi-channel delivery with full support for Print, HTML, Email, Fax, PDF and PDA delivery to allow organizations to communicate and deliver content to customers through various channels. Additionally we offer integrated IVR options for providers looking to complete their value add offering.

Construct the overall IT framework. This includes procurement strategies, policies, procedures as well as managing the maintenance of the IT infrastructure encompassing telecommunication systems and networks, Internet connectivity links and networks, computers/hardware, software systems and applications and data centers. Discuss key issues with business executives and emphasize the need for timely IT investments and rollout of specific IT projects and initiatives.Oversee the Champion's Corporate IT Department to enable capabilities with the organizational objectives and long-term corporate strategies. Responsible for delivering IT to the organization. Confer with business unit managers, project heads and key departmental heads and gauge specific IT requirements such as desktops, laptops, smart phones and hand-held communication devices, computer peripherals and networking equipment. Plan for investment in these IT assets with corporate finance managers and ensures optimal running of IT and IT systems for the extended workforce of the organization.Lead IT team who is responsible for managing and maintaining day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure. Manage their needs and specific requirements. Train new IT hires and recruits and mentors other staff members of his team.Work with external IT vendors, suppliers, outsourcing partners and software developers to buy IT assets and ensures the smooth running of the organizational IT infrastructure. Draw up contracts and service level agreements (SLA) with various vendors for telecommunication and Internet links, data center and IT hub management and other IT optimization requirements.
