Following an NBA career as a player and coach that included a World Championship, with the Boston Celtics and four years of competing in collegiate basketball at Michigan StateUniversity, one of the nations premiere college institutions, my passion to support mental health causes led me to Beacon College, as Head Coach and Director of Basketball Operations & Global Outreach. My dedication to global youth development through sports has been unwavering. By crafting strategic international relations and development initiatives through Global Coach US, my efforts have been pivotal in extending sports opportunities worldwide. My focus on creating exchange programs, international championships, and life skills development has been bolstered by competencies in social networking, event planning, and marketing communications.The guiding principle of my mission is to provide education and empowerment through sports, facilitating pathways for youth to thrive as student athletes. My role at Global Coach US has been instrumental in fostering cultural awareness and respect for diversity, contributing to the NBA's Basketball without Borders program and launching the first Jr. NBA league in Bahrain. This commitment to operational excellence and integrity has enabled me to navigate high-pressure environments effectively and achieve significant milestones, including multiple championships and the establishment of a global platform for athletes with learning challenges.
