• Support members with the development, implementation, and maintenance of contracts • Utilize understanding of complex contractual concepts to ensure alignment with Woodward’s strategic goals and compliance with quality, legal, government, and other requirements • Consult with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and negotiate contractual provisions that accurately reflect their intent and support their long-term goals • Provide primary legal support for members negotiating product supply agreements, general service agreements, SaaS agreements, NDAs, etc.• Assist the Legal Director with the creation and implementation of employee trainings to promote compliance with corporate contracting policies and procedures

• Assisted a national environmental group with legal research, drafting a complaint, and drafting a motion for summary judgement• Contributed to the development of a legal strategy in anticipation of litigation• Learned about the practical aspects of environmental litigation, including administrative decision making, client representation, legal drafting, and ethical issues
