I majored in Environmental studies, and minored in philosophy and biology. While I was attending FGCU I particularly focused on taking policy courses, as well as aiding in field research at every opportunity. I also have had the opportunity to work as a campus naturalist, developing presentation and communication skills in regards to Environmental education. At the same time as I was working with the Lucas center at FGCU as a student faculty parter, which further developed understanding curriculum design and assessment.All of these experiences provided me with the opportunity to work professionally with a diverse group of people from various different field, specialties, and walks of life. I wish to bring these interdisciplinary skills into my future career. I believe these would make me an ideal candidate for work with the various environmental departments within the government, Environmental education positions, and environmental consultant groups.
