The Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to developing a new kind of energy leader. CELI believes creating a diverse community of change-makers across sectors and disciplines will drive an equitable, decarbonized, and resilient energy ecosystem.I served as a Fellow in Fall 2018 and as a Fellowship Training Program Coordinator during the Spring 2020 program. In these capacities, I engaged with CELI's network of over 500 industry-leading professionals across 250+ organizations, making up one of the strongest professional networks in the Clean Energy industry. As a Fellowship Training Program Coordinator, I was responsible for designing and implementing a 22-week curriculum of coursework and workshops for a cohort of ~30 fellows.

TerraForm Power (now under the umbrella of Brookfield Renewable Partners) owned and operated over 500 wind and solar projects (comprising 2.6 GWs of generation capacity) in the US, Canada, and Chile. At the time, TerraForm was the largest solar and wind energy operating platform in North America. At TerraForm, I was responsible for structuring tax equity and debt financing for portfolios of distributed generation and utility scale solar projects in the US and Canada. This included financial modeling and project due diligence for organic project development and select M&A activity, relationship management with key stakeholders at the project- and corporate-level, and supporting capital formation & capital markets activities. Over my tenure at TerraForm, I raised over $500M of project and corporate capital for the acquisition of over 120 MWs of solar projects and for corporate purposes.

As an analyst at Guggenheim Partners Investments in the Corporate Credit Group, I was responsible for proactively managing ~$4bn of fixed income investments (out of a total $60bn AUM). My investments included exposure across High Yield, Leverage Loans, and Middle Market, primarily in the Industrials, Waste & Environmental Services, and Transportation sectors. Primary responsibilities included performing research and analysis on investment opportunities in the high yield bond and bank loan markets; conducting due diligence for primary and secondary fixed income investments across multiple investment vehicles; and opportunistically recommending primary and secondary market trades to Investment Committee.

The Wesleyan Green Fund was a student-led committee charged with investing in sustainable development at Wesleyan University using ~$200k/yr endowment from student tuition. Responsible for seeking out student proposals, evaluating proposals, selecting funding opportunities, and working with students to refine and execute projects accepted for funding. Projects funded included infrastructure investments for an on-campus farm selling produce to campus dining services, seed investment for a Middletown community garden, start-up capital for a sustainable t-shirt manufacturing initiative at Wesleyan, and grant money to fund two students in a post-graduate climate policy initiative in Washington, DC.
