Directed and led corporate finance and treasury operational initiatives to control costs, drive revenue, and streamline operations during periods of high growth. I also managed through 2 recessions for a leader in hospitality franchising across more than 6,300 hotel franchises in 35 countries. I contributed significantly to shaping domestic and international finance policies, aligning organizational efforts, developing global treasury plan, and deploying new systems.

Evolved and defined the scope of my position during a period of rapid growth and expansion, absorbing additional functionality. Expanded role to include Treasury Operations, and billing for Procurement Group to consolidate efforts. Oversaw M&A integration of Suburban Extended Stay brand into back office functionality and reporting. Assumed leadership for Travel Agent Commissions group, reconciling $2M in variance and reducing operating expenses by $900K. Created hybrid function between business and legal teams to quickly resolve disputes and avoid litigation. Led automation efforts for revenue reporting to establish controls and reduce under-reporting issues. Developed telecommuting policies to drive governance of work-from-home programs and improve morale. Implemented Concur SaaS solution to improve T/E controls, target auditing and mobile capabilities.
