Originally conceived during her travels across Western Queensland conducting art wellbeing workshops, Samantha was inspired by the stories of rural women entrepreneurs. With over 40,000 downloads in its first six months, The Rural Compass quickly became a sought-after platform, shedding light on conversations often overlooked.Recognized for her contributions, Samantha was named a finalist for the 2020 Agrifutures Rural Woman of the Year QLD and received the prestigious ABC Heywire Trailblazer recognition. These accolades led to numerous media appearances and speaking engagements, including notable venues like Parliament House and the National Museum in Canberra. After a hiatus for family reasons, Samantha has returned to Toowoomba, eager to re-engage with her passion.In addition to her podcasting endeavors, Samantha has a passion for event planning and management.
