I worked as a senior engineer for Workday’s Performance & Scalability Tools team. My responsibilities included microservices architecture, feature implementation, and performance optimization on a suite of fullstack applications using ReactJS, Nodejs, Javascript, Typescript, Java, Python, Jupyter notebooks. Our team’s apps were used extensively by Workday executives, performance engineers, data scientists, and account executives to monitor and improve performance for the firm’s customers.• I simplified our user’s login process by designing a single sign on module that integrated with the corporate stack using Okta SAML2 SSO. I brought this from proof of concept to deployment into our team’s entire suite of web apps.• Saved the company money and several developer years of time by sharing our SSO design to peer teams across the organization thereby reducing duplicated effort.• Migrated full stack web apps from private cloud to AWS public cloud using EC2 and RDS instances.• Expanded the functionality of our dashboard web app by overcoming previous design and performance limitations.
