Part of the EU R&D leadership team as Operations Leader. Enabling the successful delivery, execution, and return on investment for numerous Technology & Innovation projects and corporate initiatives within the European portfolio. I am accountable for operational leadership of ~20 complex initiatives spanning multiple construction sectors, with solutions covering Digital, Advanced Manufacturing, off-site construction, and product or process development. Alongside managing our work plan and budget, I advise the business on investment decisions before ensuring the realisation of respective returns on capex or operational outlay. I work closely with the project leaders, managers, teams, stakeholders and supply chain partners. In addition, I am responsible for exploring new trends, strategies and disruptive innovation to bring about change and value generation for the EU Hub. Previously I lead a team of staff to manage all work win and business development related Digital Engineering (VDC) activities for the UK business and have lead Digital Engineering (BIM) application on projects ranging in value from £50m to £1bn+. I am a Chartered Engineer, qualified as a certified BIM Manager with the RICS and I am an active member of the Institution of Engineering Technology.I have worked on a number of large infrastructure and building projects, coordinating and managing all aspects of the Digital Engineering / BIM process as well as providing innovative solutions using related technology across: engineering and technical solutions to cost control, planning and model management, among many others. I also worked as a site engineer, coordinating day to day construction activities on a number of projects for Expanded and Laing O’Rourke .
