I enjoyed my time as a placement student at GSK thoroughly, and gained a variety of experience from the role. Working with the global and local marketing teams for consumer healthcare brands Horlicks and MaxiNutrition, I gained experience in every aspect of marketing. This included developing new artwork for international markets, creating sales material for distributors and customers as well as a strong focus on digital marketing and content production. I supported the digital team with re developing the MaxiNutrition website, ensuring all content was relevant and up to date, liaising with agencies in the creation of new written content, and being involved in the production of several digital videos. This included being the lead in the production of short information rich videos for YouTube and social accounts, and being on the team for the production of a viral video. GSK were a great organisation to work for and I recommend them for any students looking for a placement. Show less
