- Design and implement thesis project directed at analyzing the aquatic health and habitats of Richland Creek, Illinois- Collect water samples over the entire creek reach monthly for twelve months- Perform microbial assays, fecal contamination tests, pathogen detection procedures, and water quality tests in the SIUE Environmental Health lab. - Conduct statistical analyses of collected data to identify patterns, causes, and potential risks using RStudio and Excel

• Review project reports, annual progress reports, and project site spreadsheets• Create interactive maps of compiled information for past/current/future Land Conservation and Habitat Restoration projects for The Middle Mississippi River Partnership (MMRP)• Communicate via Zoom, email, and phone with state and federal agencies and not-for-profit organizations to track down documents and information about projects• Create PowerPoints, abstracts, and project summaries for presentations

• Perform statistical analyses of disease transmission in Mexico• Disease data entry in ArcGIS Pro• Create maps of natural disaster events and rates in ArcGIS Pro• Perform spatiotemporal analyses of mosquito-borne disease clusters and flooding events• Read and review scientific literature relating to disease transmission and geographic variables
