System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and SMS 2003 Administrator. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining the health of our central, primary, and secondary site servers across the globe (100+ site systems in total); scheduling and installing security patches with WSUS / SCCM for 25,000 workstations and 3,000 servers; updating the sms_def.mof and configuration.mof files to provide updated inventory; standing up Internet Management points to allow for software deployments over the Internet (using an SSL-SSL bridge); and developing SCCM reports for upper management. Other duties include maintaining the corporate WinBatch logon script in one forest and a Group Policy VBScript in another; and maintaining the SQL Server 2005 database environment used in our SCCM, SMS, and McAfee environments.

My major responsibility entailed the creation of scripts to automate administrative tasks. This included, but was not limited to, automating the user and mailbox creation process in a Windows 2003 Active Directory environment; creation of a WMI script to update all TCP/IP parameters on all servers; and creation of a VBScript to automate the system state backups on all servers. Other responsibilities included administration of the SQL Server 2000 database environment (backups, restores, linked servers, scheduled jobs, etc.) and primary contact for a number of 3rd party applications: MagicTSD helpdesk software, Connect:Remote branch sales polling software, Kronos Workforce Time Keeper Central, and Gentran/GIS EDI software application.
