I can be moved throughout the store in all departments and help in completing tasks whenever it is needed. I help run a service called Special Orders, which is a delivery system for the handicapped and elderly. The tasks include receiving calls and writing down orders to be shopped the following day, shopping those orders, being the driver that makes the deliveries with the help of an associate, and maintaining a close relationship with the clients. In the 10+ years that I have worked at VGs, I have never received a complaint from a customer.

I was an active member specifically working with the volunteerism tier. The other tiers are grants and fundraising. I was involved with phone conferences ranging from every week to two weeks. We created a mission statement, yearly goals, ways of measuring our volunteer effort, and forms in which employees fill out to make sure they are credited for their time.
