Sam is a seasoned litigator who practices in both CS&L’s personal injury and commercial law groups. Sam is barred in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has handled cases on a pro hac vice basis in numerous state and federal courts throughout the country. Since joining CS&L in 2021, Sam has helped secure over $25 million dollars in recoveries for victims of medical malpractice, wrongful death, and other catastrophic injuries.Of note, Sam was co-counsel in a wrongful death case involving a bicyclist who was fatally injured that resolved for $6.4 million dollars. Sam, along with Seth A. Britten, Esquire, was able secure a settlement of over $3 million dollars, before trial, in a birth injury lawsuit involving untreated neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia. Recently, Seth and Sam secured the largest settlement, to date, against the City of Philadelphia for a prisoner-on-prisoner wrongful death claim.Sam has been designated as a “Rising Star” every year since 2020, a distinction given by Philadelphia Magazine to only the top 2.5% of lawyers under the age of forty.
