Working closely with the Design Director and free lance designers, through all processes of development. Regular travel to suppliers in the Far East. Trips include fabric sourcing, development & fit meetings.Managing men's and women's ranges & price planning, analysing previous sales, pricing history & current market comparisons.Monitoring the placement of all products with the correct suppliers. Responsible for garment technology including fittings, technical comments and specification issue.Managing the entire product life cycle. Source fabrics that reach price targets, minimums, lead times and quality assurance. Issue all proto and salesman sample tech packs to factories. Obtaining / maintaining and negotiating prices.Responsible for issuing of production files with all correct information to suppliers.Approval and fitting of pre-production and shipment samples.Regular communication with all suppliers – effectively responding to all issues arising throughout the sourcing process.
