I worked from the pre-production period of the project through to the game's launch as a producer, marketer, and art director. The entire team worked incredibly hard throughout development, and we're all very proud of the results and the number of users that we have achieved.As a producer, I had several roles and responsibilities that were vital to the running of the game. These included task organisation and prioritisation, running meetings, recruiting and introducing new team members, and assisting project leaders and their teams. Overall, my work as a producer helped to co-ordinate tasks between the numerous teams working on the game, save valuable time, and ensure development was as effective as possible.As a marketer, I worked alongside the game developers and other members of the marketing team to create marketing materials and promote the game online. As a free game, the marketing team I worked within faced unique challenges, such as finding effective ways to market the game online for free and putting our focus on getting users to spend their time on the game (instead of their money), which could be just as challenging. Despite these challenges, I'm very proud of how many people our marketing reached, and the effectiveness of this.Finally, I worked as the art director on the game for the final few months ahead of the launch of the game. The art team, as large as it was, had a very high workload of tasks, many of which were urgent. I used my skills in task management and leadership to organise and distribute tasks to members of the art team, playing to each individual's strength. I worked in tandem with other development teams to distribute these tasks to ensure our process was as efficient as possible.
