Using my experience in statistical and regression analysis I plan to delve deeper into my interest in public policy at a local city government level. Specifically in relation to environmental research and policies put in place to ease human impact on climate change in the last two centuries. Through my studies at Drexel University while pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Economics I have learned how to use multiple analysis programs, including EVIEWS and STATA, as tools to research specific economic outcomes and what factors have importance in deciding these outcomes and what policy recommendations align with the results. Also my experience in volunteering on the Mayoral Campaign for Bill de Blasio in 2014 sparked an interest in me in local government and communities. These experiences led me to developing a passion for research and implementation of economic policies that can have a positive effect upon the environmental welfare of the planet, as well as the welfare of local communities. I wish to fully immerse myself into city or local government and continue to learn and analyse and research the economics of the public sector and do my best to leave a positive effect on local communities and the health of the planet.
